Elevating Compassionate Care:

Your Home Away from Home

At Lighthouse Personal Care Homes in Dalton, we offer seniors the warmth and attention of a real home—something big-box facilities simply can’t match. While others feel like hotels, our homes provide comfort, excellent meals, daily cleaning, and personal care at an outstanding value, with no hidden fees or rate increases after move-in.

Our compassionate team delivers 24-hour care with the industry’s lowest resident-to-caregiver ratio of 6-to-1, ensuring residents receive truly personalized attention. Unlike larger or less-managed facilities, we combine quality care with professional oversight and heartfelt service. As proud members of Second Wind Dreams, we’re committed to enhancing lives through meaningful experiences and positive aging.

Each home includes a dedicated house manager, trained caregivers, and an experienced administrator. We emphasize ongoing staff training, Positive Approach to Care techniques, and a culture of compassion. Schedule a tour and see why Lighthouse offers Dalton’s most trusted personal care.

LaRay Ramey

Administrator

With a lifelong passion for elder care inspired by cherished moments with my grandmother, I’ve spent over 30 years serving the elderly community through roles such as developing senior programs for the State of Georgia and directing programs at the Alzheimer’s Association. This work has been both meaningful and enriching, allowing me to support individuals living with dementia while educating families. I’m also a proud parent to two wonderful adult children—Courtney, who works in Downtown Chattanooga, and Logan, a junior at Kennesaw State University. They are my greatest joys, alongside my continued commitment to serving others and giving back.
