Elevating Compassionate Care:

Your Home Away from Home

At Lighthouse Personal Care Homes in Dalton, we offer seniors the warmth and attention of a real home—something big-box facilities simply can’t match. While others feel like hotels, our homes provide comfort, excellent meals, daily cleaning, and personal care at an outstanding value, with no hidden fees or rate increases after move-in.

Our compassionate team delivers 24-hour care with the industry’s lowest resident-to-caregiver ratio of 6-to-1, ensuring residents receive truly personalized attention. Unlike larger or less-managed facilities, we combine quality care with professional oversight and heartfelt service. As proud members of Second Wind Dreams, we’re committed to enhancing lives through meaningful experiences and positive aging.

Each home includes a dedicated house manager, trained caregivers, and an experienced administrator. We emphasize ongoing staff training, Positive Approach to Care techniques, and a culture of compassion. Schedule a tour and see why Lighthouse offers Dalton’s most trusted personal care.

Whitney

Executive Director

I bring a heart for service, a passion for leadership, and a deep commitment to creating communities where people feel valued, supported, and truly at home. With a background in nonprofit leadership and community engagement, I have dedicated my career to building meaningful relationships and strengthening the organizations I serve. I believe that senior living is about more than providing care, it is about honoring each resident’s story, fostering meaningful connections, and creating an environment where residents can thrive and families can have peace of mind.

I look forward to getting to know each resident, family member, and team member personally. I am committed to listening, learning, and building upon the strong foundation already in place.

I am married and a proud mother of two, a son and a daughter. My husband serves in the military, and our family values service, commitment, and community. I am currently working toward my Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Management, and Tourism, and I have a deep love for the Dalton community.

Naomie Arango

Lighthouse Ambassador

Naomie has been part of our Lighthouse Personal Care Homes family since March, 2022. Her smile and positive energy truly shines through our house as she focuses on person centered care and leadership. Embodying our mission statement of “creating moments of joy in everything we do,” Naomie is an excellent example of this. She is never too busy to snap a selfie with our residents, and she picks up on the little things that make each of our residents and staff feel special & unique.

Naomie completed her CNA training last year and loves reading, arts & crafts (specifically painting), & loves styling hair. She has absolutely beautiful handwriting, paying attention to the art of calligraphy even in her everyday tasks. We love and appreciate her more than she will ever know.

Her godmother, Jobita and her mother, Michelle inspired her to work with seniors. While people often tell her she is going to do great things, we think she is already doing incredible things every single day for our residents, their families & the community of Dalton, Georgia.

“You spend your whole life trying to figure out what you’re meant to do, what you’re meant to be, and for us

– This was it.”

Jamie, Dana, and Dr. Miller have since dedicated themselves to becoming specialists in the field of personal care home and memory care. They are pleased to be able to provide personal care homes with high quality, luxurious and individualized care.
